As an Independent candidate running for Harrisville City Council in UT, Steven Hempel is focused on key issues that matter to the community.

Background:
Steven Hempel works as a Dev. Ops. Support Engineer and has a personal interest in sign language, having studied it since high school. He has studied at Salt Lake Community College, The University of Utah and holds a Batchelor's Degree. He has 4 children. 3 boys ages 24, 22, 19 and a girl age 16. He is an eagle scout and has volunteered as an adult leader in all capacities of scouting. He and his 3 boys are Eagle Scouts.
He is active in his community and has recently volunteered with his company to the Gateway Children's Museum for the coding camp where children ages 11-17 go to learn to code games or stories.
